Collection: Contract Approved Wallpaper

Contract approved wallcoverings are papers the manufacturer has approved for commercial spaces: hotels, restaurants, offices, healthcare facilities, retail, and the common areas of multifamily buildings. They work just as well in any home.

Every paper in this collection carries Thibaut's or Anna French's contract approved designation, which means it has been tested to commercial standards, including a Class A fire rating under ASTM E84, the rating most commercial building codes require.

Durability varies by construction:

  • Vinyl wallcoverings (Type I and Type II) are the toughest: scrubbable, stain resistant, and built for corridors, lobbies, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas.
  • Non-woven and paper prints are washable and easy to install and remove, a good fit for guest rooms, offices, and dining spaces.
  • Grasscloth and natural weaves bring texture to lower-traffic walls, such as lobbies, reception areas, and feature walls.

Flame and smoke ratings and construction details are listed on each product page. Designers and specifiers: contact us for documentation for your project.
