Measuring and ordering

Measure the height and width of each wall before ordering, and note doors, windows, and other openings. Katsura is 27 in (68.58 cm) wide and has a 51 in (129.54 cm) vertical repeat with a drop match. Adjacent strips require a vertical offset to align the design; have your installer confirm the manufacturer's specified offset before cutting rather than assuming a half-drop. Allow extra strip length beyond your wall height for trimming and pattern alignment; the large repeat and drop match can reduce the number of full-height strips available from a roll.

As a conservative planning allowance, budget roughly 15–20% extra for pattern matching, trimming, and installation waste. The large repeat, drop match, or complex walls may require more, so do not rely on this allowance alone. Have your installer confirm the cut plan and roll quantity using your wall measurements, supplied roll dimensions, and manufacturer's match instructions. An exact roll count cannot be given without room measurements.

Each double roll is 27 in wide × 9 yd long (≈ 8.2 m). Exact roll count depends on your room dimensions.
