Inspired by an antique document depicting abstract, whimsical leaves, Matisse Leaf was the starting point for the Kismet collection. This pattern has a light-hearted artistic spirit and gets its name after a French visual artist known for color and fluidity.
Measure the height and width of each wall before ordering, and note doors, windows, and other openings. Matisse Leaf is 27 in (68.58 cm) wide and has a 36 in (91.44 cm) vertical repeat with a half-drop match, so adjacent strips are offset by half the repeat to align the pattern. Allow extra strip length beyond your wall height for trimming and pattern alignment; the large repeat and half-drop match can reduce the number of full-height strips available from a roll.
As a conservative planning allowance, budget roughly 15–20% extra for pattern matching, trimming, and installation waste. The large repeat or complex walls may require more, so do not rely on this allowance alone. Have your installer confirm the cut plan and roll quantity using your wall measurements and the supplied roll dimensions. An exact roll count cannot be given without room measurements.
